Creative Biz Cards

It was great show and we enjoyed looking around.
My boy found another fun to collect biz card from booths.
Each of them was very characteristic and I could imagine how much of their efforts were spent on each card to catch up customers' attention at first sight.

Finally Found His Favorite Characters

I expected that we could find his favorite characters easily, but looked like he grown up already. He kept saying most of them were childish. Hmm... after looking around about an hour he found his favorite!!

Despicable Me

The huge minions from animation 'Despicable Me'.

He ran to them and asked me to take a picture with them.

When he was 4, we watched the movie together, but he was not that much interested in characters and the movie as well. Recently he watched the 'Despicable Me 2' with his friend and looked like he enjoyed it. 

Zombie Dumb

Another favorite character 'Zombie'

We talked much about zombie and other scary charterers such as Frankenstein, Dracula, Ghost, Wolf Man, etc. since he got his first Lego 'Monster Fighters'. 

These weren't from it, but he was so happy to find zombie stuff at there.

I love your big smile, Man!

Punch him!! He ain't gonna scare you any more. Lol

They made cute dolls as well.

'Psy' Characters

These reminded me that my boy used dance whenever he heard the 'Gangnam Style'

It was so popular all over the world. Although I didn't listen this song in front of him, he already knew and asked me to watch the music video.

Hmm... I believed I had my boy's horse riding video clip some where.

Psy's Gangnam Style again :)

It was funny that Psy didn't make it aim to the world market.

Mobile Game Characters

We found cute Anipang Characters at there. My boy had played a few times before, but he  didn't interested in that much.

Anipang

Anipang was the first mobile game that was played with from teenagers to 50's in Korea as far as I knew. It was a simple puzzle game where you matched more than 3 animal characters to get points like Candy Crush. Total user was more than 25,000,000 last year and heard that 10,000,000 downloads in a month after launched.Moreover, it was amazing that it lasted much longer than they expected because life cycle of was puzzle game max 3 month. 

I believed the hit points were that cute characters, simple to play, score competition among friends in the list, and distribution by Kakao Talk, instant messaging App for mobile devices and similar as WhatsApp.
I could hear its theme music in the bus, subway, coffee shop or even on the street while I was going some where since 2012.

Animation Characters

Robocar Poli

It was one of my boy's favorite animation before and he used to have all character toys. 4 main robot transformable characters of police car, fire truck, ambulance, and helicopter who worked in the rescue team. I still remember that some characters were so popular and had a hard time to get it on Christmas season. Some complained they paid 30 % more to get it on time. Anyhow these were handed over to his cousin.

I watched this animation with my boy many times and liked all episodes because it was non violent and provided lessons for kids.

There were various characters and toys made with paper. It was a great idea to build characters in 3D.

They have Youtube video and say they had many collaboration with well known companies such as Blizzard, Nike, and Marvel. Wow!! 

I was so impressed when I saw paper toys because these creative pioneers could create a blue ocean by themselves instead of working in big companies.

Character & Licensing Fair

Nowadays I can tell my boy has grown up and so does his interest and curiosity in many things.
To expand his interest and see his favorite animation characters he used to love, we went Seoul Character & Licensing Fair.

The 'Clash of Clans', mobile game was advertised every subway stations, I believe.
He knew about it a bit because he watched when I payed before and wanted to play.

Before going to the show, we decided to have a lunch at Mcdonald's.
Found some delivery scooters in front of it.

Ordered a quarter founder super size set and a double bulgogi burger.
In Korean Mcdonald's they have 'Set Menu' instead of extra value meal and a burger with Bulgogi patty, one of most popular grilled marinated beef, called Bulgogi burger.
This was my boy's most favorite burger and he used to had a single patty one, but this time he got a double patty one and finished in a sec. Wow!!

We talked to creates and said  characters was motivated from Korean traditional boogeyman's mallet.

I thought it was a great idea because it contained Korean spirit and everybody knew it gave a punishment for a bad people and a blessing for a good people.
